A new recycling refund point has been set up in Victoria’s north-west.
The Mobil in Ouyen, allowing locals to hand over containers for ten cents per item or donations to charity.
It comes as Mildura leads regional Victoria as the top-performing refund point, having had more than 11-point-seven MILLION containers returned since the Container Deposit Scheme started in November last year.

The Victorian Government says the recycled items can be turned into different things including material for roads, furniture and textiles.
