Mallee Accommodation and Support Program has officially opened its new Dareton office.
MASP says the new home will provide a visible presence in the town’s CBD, with its street frontage featuring artwork representing the river and meeting places.
Meanwhile, last week’s Essential Household Items Drive is being called a success.
The Friday money line also raised over $1,000 for the local organisation, to help the region’s homeless.
$333.35 in coins were donated, plus $180 in notes for $513.35 in total physical money, and $332 through QR code pledges.
The SFNL also donated $250.
Last week was Homelessness Week.
