A new dirt karting facility could be completed in Mildura by the middle of next year.
The local group has shown local riders its plans for the complex on land near Timmis Speedway, featuring two tracks and pit area among other features.
It will be the first approved Australian Independent Dirt Karting Association track in Victoria once finished, which would automatically give the local club hosting rights to the Victorian State Championships, potentially meaning a huge windfall for the entire Sunraysia community.

The club has used Olympic Park for over a decade, shifting to Timmis Speedway due to the flooding last year.
