A chair has been announced for the Murray Darling Basin Authority’s advisory committee on social, economic and environmental sciences.
The authority says Adjunct Professor Bill Young has more than 15-years in water security and policy, and will guide specialist independent advice in water related research and analysis.
He replaces Rob Vertessy who left late last year.
MDBA Chief Executive Andrew McConville welcomed Adj Prof Young to the role of ACSEES Chair who will guide the provision of specialist independent advice across water-related research and analysis.
The MDBA is refreshing the membership of the committee with recruitment now underway.
