The NBN Fibre Upgrade Program is coming to Balranald and commencing on Monday 19 January 2026.
These works will continue to approximately 30 June 2026.
Working Hours are from 7:00am – 5:00pm.
Due to the heat, they may be onsite at 6:00am and start setup although there will be minimal use of machinery until closer to 7:00am.
NBN will be undertaking civil construction works utilising directional drills, excavators and Vac trucks.
The majority of works will be completed using directional drills to avoid digging up front lawns.
Pit contractors will complete upgrade/ install of Telstra/NBN pits.
This will involve the removal of existing asbestos for upgrade.
Please be aware that NBN contractors may be working in your street during this period.
We kindly ask that you remain alert to their presence and exercise caution when driving or moving around the area.
