Today is National Walk Safely to School Day.
Now in its 25th year, National Walk Safely to School Day (WSTSD) is an annual event when all Primary School children will be encouraged to walk and commute safely to school.
It is a Community Event seeking to promote Road Safety, Health, Public Transport and the Environment.

Victoria Police have warned they will be out and about around school zones to encourage this community initiative, and are asking road users to be extra careful on the roads today.
