Murray Mallee Police report that seven drivers have been dealt with by them for traffic offences over the long weekend, including the following in the Riverland.
Just before 3:00am on Sunday 8 March, a 19-year-old Cooltong man was reported after being stopped on Twentieth Street, Renmark, and allegedly returning a blood alcohol reading of 0.170.
The man was also reported for breaching his P-plate licence conditions.
His Ford Falcon was impounded, and he will be summonsed to appear at Berri Magistrates Court at a later date.
Between Friday 6 March and Tuesday 10 March, Murray Mallee Police reported three people on separate occasions for drug driving.
All have been issued with three-month loss of licence and may be charged with drug driving following results of a forensic analysis.
