Murray Mallee Police have reported a number of drivers for traffic offences over the weekend, including the following in the Riverland.
About 3.15pm on Saturday 25 July, police stopped a Ford sedan on Colin Street, Loxton for the purpose of a driver test.
Police checks on the 35-year-old local man’s drivers licence showed that it was cancelled.
The man was reported for driving a motor vehicle with a cancelled driver’s licence.
He will be summonsed to appear in court at a later date.
About 9am on Sunday 26 July, police stopped a Toyota utility on Bookpurnong road, Loxton North for the purpose of a driver test.
It will be alleged the driver a 34-year-old local man returned a positive result for cannabis.
The man is expected to be issued an expiation notice and a three-month instant loss of licence notice.
