Murray Mallee Police detected several traffic offences over the weekend including the following in the Riverland.
Just after 4:00pm on Friday (June 19) police stopped a sedan on Bookpurnong Road, Loxton.
After an initial driver test, the driver, a 48-year-old Wanbi man, allegedly refused to comply with further drug driver testing procedures.
He was arrested and charged with disobey reasonable direction and bailed to appear in the Berri Magistrates Court on 6 July.
His vehicle was defected.
About 10.15am on Sunday (June 21) Loxton Police responded to reports of a vehicle doing burnouts on Bookpurnong Road, Loxton.
Following investigations, a 17-year-old boy from McLaren Vale was reported for misuse of a motor vehicle.
He was also issued with a defect and expiation notice and will be summonsed to appear in the Berri Youth Court at a later date.
