A man’s been caught speeding in Merbein.
Police intercepted the 29-year-old on Saturday night after he was allegedly caught doing 132kmh in a 100kmh zone.
Officers say the man also had drugs in his system, and was unlicensed.
He’s due to face court down the track.
Also, a Red Cliffs woman has lost her licence for six months and fined more than 15-hundred dollars after allegedly testing positive to drugs while driving.
The 29-year-old was pulled over by police on Sunday, with officers also alleging the car she was driving was unregistered.
Meantime, a woman has been fined and lost her licence for three months after she was caught speeding at Carwarp.
The 45-year-old was allegedly caught doing 133kmh on the Calder Highway on Sunday afternoon.
Police say it’s disappointing a number of people were caught doing the wrong thing on the roads.
