Mildura Rural City Council has celebrated a year of emissions reductions and cost savings.
It’s one of fifty-one Victorian councils to have slashed energy bills through the Victorian Energy Collaboration, with the city saying its savings can be redirected to critical community services.
The local governments have also saved more than 170-thousand tonnes of greenhouse gas emissions in 12 months.
