There are calls for the Victorian Government to provide more time for basin communities to have more time to provide feedback on the Planning Our Basin Future Together Prospectus.
Farmers and irrigators in areas including Sunraysia have until June 16 to provide feedback and be involved in community consultation.
However the Victorian State Opposition says farmers need more time to have a chance to have their voices heard on the matter.

Shadow Water Minister Tim McCurdy says it’s a complex issue and it can’t be rushed.
