Olympic Park Speedway’s season will get under way this Saturday night with a focus on an interstate, young riders, four team tournament as well as a wide-ranging selection of support classes.

Four young teams of four riders each, will get plenty of work, as they ride over twenty gruelling heats to decide who is the champion State team.

Each team rider will take five programmed rides with the Mildura format differing from the regular international format in that there will be no “tactical” substitutions allowed.

Gates will open at 5:00pm with a scheduled start at 6:00pm for, what will be, an earlyish night.

Regular support events will also be included with the keen interest of regular patrons to the fore.

The regular Olympic Park Juniors will also be included in the night’s program, so visitors will see all categories in action on the track.

This speedway season will also feature the annual Phil Crump Solo Classic on Saturday 27th December while the third round of the 2026 Australian Solo Title will be held on Wednesday 7th January 2026 and the season will draw to a climax with the conduct of the 2026 Australian Sidecar Championship to be held over the Anzac weekend with the Qualifying on Friday 24th April and the Title meeting on Saturday 25th April 2026.
