Mildura will be buzzing this weekend with plenty happening over the mini-break.
The city is hosting the Soccer Junior Country Championships, The Mildura Riverfront Marathon and The Matsumura Blues Festival.
Mildura Rural City Council Mayor Liam Wood says accommodation across Mildura is nearing capacity for the King’s birthday weekend.
Meanwhile the seven finalists in this year’s Top Tourism Town have been announced, and Mildura is among the nominations.
The city will competing against other regional cities including Bendigo, Ballarat, Echuca, Shepparton, Werribee and Warrnambool for the top prize.

The Victorian Tourism Industry Council award winners will be announced on July 25th.
