Mildura Health Foundation has held an end-of-year event to thank donors, looking back at what they’ve accomplished in 2024 and setting sights to the future.
Celebrations included for the Dr Julie Zrna Centre, which hit its fundraising target last month.
The Foundation hopes the accommodation facility, set to open July next year, will help local’s access cancer care close to home.

Their next goal is a PET scan machine, used in the diagnosis of a range of health issues including Alzheimer’s disease.
Without one of these machines in the Mallee, locals have to travel to major cities, delaying diagnosis and treatment.
