Anyone thinking about running for council in Mildura only has a week and a half to nominate.
Mildura will be moving to nine single-councillors wards compared to an un-subdivided structure from this year.
Ruth Murray from the VEC says nominations will open on September 9 until midday September 17, and must be in person.
Bendigo will be moving from three wards with three councillors to nine single-councillor wards in the October election, and Ballarat will be moving from three wards with three councillors to nine single-councillor wards.
Nominations to stand as a candidate in the 2024 local council elections open on Monday 9 September.
Election offices will be open for nominations during business hours from Monday 9 September until 12 noon Tuesday 17 September.
