Mildura CFA is getting ready to welcome its new vehicle – a heavy tanker.
The four-wheel drive will be able to hold up to four-thousand litres of water, increasing its capability in firefighting situations.
It also has several safety features including roll over protection and crew protection sprinklers.

The tanker will rolled out in coming weeks, and will replace the brigade’s current tanker which holds just over three-thousand seven hundred litres.
Mildura CFA Captain Jason Currie says it’s a “flash looking truck”.
