Wentworth Shire Council have advised the community of temporary changes to the operating hours of the Midway Service Centre, including the Midway Library and Midway Council Customer Service.
This Friday, 7 November 2025, and next Friday, 14 November 2025, the Midway Service Centre will close early at 12:00pm (Noon), making the revised hours 8:30am to 12:00pm.
Council facilities will maintain their usual operating hours for community use at the Main Administration Office (Wentworth), Dareton Library and Wentworth Library.
For emergencies including blocked public drains, damage to local roads, animal control or fallen trees within Council’s parks and reserves, residents can still call (03) 5027 5027.
In life-threatening emergencies, or for urgent help from Police, Fire or Ambulance services, call 000 (Triple Zero).
Council has apologised for any inconvenience.
