A local organisation has had its say in NSW plans to redesign the family preservation system.
Mallee Family Care says it drew on its experience as a provider of the program in remote communities.
It says strong families mean strong communities, and family preservation programs play a vital role in promoting child wellbeing.

The local organisation says the programs also need to be grounded in communities to work.
