A community information session is being held as a Lower Murray Water wastewater treatment plant is being considered for shut down.
The Merbein plant could be decommissioned, with the town’s wastewater being diverted to the Koorlong facility.
The information session is on at the Merbein Community Hub this afternoon with the water authority after community input on plans for the site.

The information session will be held from 4:00pm – 5:00pm.
