Locals around Mildura and Swan Hill will miss out on getting a photo opportunity with the Melbourne Cup on its 2024 tour.
The closest the 750-thousand dollar cup will get to the region is Mount Wycheproof in late August.
The cup’s itinerary before the November 5 big race has been released, and it will be heading overseas including New York, but it won’t make it into the North-West of Victoria.
