The Murray Darling Basin Authority is engaging with communities, First Nations peoples, governments and industries to gather feedback and shape the future of water management in the Basin.
This collaborative effort aims to strengthen the Basin Plan, ensuring it remains effective in a changing climate and continues to support resilient communities and healthy rivers.
In early 2026, there will be a minimum 12 week public consultation which will be an opportunity for all stakeholders to contribute their feedback.
