Benji Neal has claimed this year’s McLeod Medal for the Sunraysia Football League Best and Fairest.
The Robinvale Euston player finished on 24 votes for his first year with the club, four ahead of Sam Kerridge from Mildura and Red Cliffs’ Tyson Old.
Former AFLW star Courtney Wakefield won the Horkings Medal for the Women’s Netball Best and Fairest, polling 25 votes with Wentworth.
She was four votes ahead of Imperials Meg McManus and last year’s winner Jess McNamara.
Football Umpires of the Year were Ben Front (field), Nathan Bruinhout (boundary) and Andrew Dowdy (goal).
