Mildura Rural City Council Mayor Liam Wood is hoping the Red Hot Summer Tour will be going ahead this weekend, despite the forecast rain.
Organisers say the event will go ahead unless it’s not safe to do so.
Councillor Wood is encouraging locals to support the music festival, which will be the first major event at Nowingi Place since it reopened.
