Mass fish death exercise in Menindee

NSW EPA and other government agencies will be in Menindee for the next few days, conducting an exercise to test the emergency management arrangements for a mass fish death event.

This exercise will help the NSW Government be more prepared and is a part of the NSW EPA’s work under the NSW Government response to the mass fish deaths in Menindee in 2023.

Representatives of local and state agencies will be on location in Menindee from today, September 22 until Thursday 24 September while the exercise is underway.
