A man has been charged after allegedly driving while his licence was cancelled in NSW.
About 12.30pm on Monday, 21 October 2024, officers attached to Traffic and Highway Patrol were conducting patrols of the Euston area when they stopped a vehicle on Cowper Street, for random testing.
Police spoke with the driver, a 38-year-old man, and inquiries revealed his licence was allegedly cancelled and the vehicle was unregistered and uninsured.
He was subjected to roadside testing which returned a negative result.
The vehicle was seized, and the man was issued with a Future Court Attendance Notice charged with drive while licence cancelled, use unregistered registrable Class A motor vehicle on road and drive uninsured vehicle.
He is due to appear before Wentworth Local Court on Tuesday 7 January 2025.
