At about 6.30am on Wednesday the 7th of January, Police were advised to keep an eye out for white Isuzu truck allegedly stolen from the Balranald area the previous day possibly travelling on Curlewis Street Swan Hill.
Police observed the truck travelling at an alleged speed of 106km/h in a 60km/h zone.
The driver was also driving in an unsafe manner, so police did not pursue the vehicle.
About 15 minutes later, Police were called to a property on Bomardieri Lane, where the truck had gotten bogged in a paddock.
A 21-year-old male from Queensland was arrested after stealing a quad bike from a nearby property and attempting to steal another vehicle.
An allegedly stolen firearm was also located in the vicinity.
The male was wanted by police interstate and remanded in custody on the Victorian matters.
