A 34-year-old Mildura man has faced court after over 800-thousand dollars in cash was allegedly found in his luggage at Gold Coast Airport.
An Australian Federal Police cash and drug detection dog drew attention to the man’s carry-on bag as he prepared to fly to Mildura in March.
Police searched his luggage finding the 830-thousand dollars in cash, suspected of being proceeds of crime, which carries a maximum penalty of ten years jail.
