Man dies after tractor accident at Glossop

Major Crash Officers are investigating a collision at Glossop last week.

Just before 9.30am, Friday 2 February, emergency services responded to reports a man had been run over by an unmanned tractor.

The man had been working on the tractor adjacent to the Old Sturt Highway.

An 87-year-old man from Glossop was taken to the Berri Hospital and was later transferred to the Royal Adelaide Hospital.

Sadly on Tuesday the man died from his injuries.

The man’s death is the 8th life lost on South Australian Roads this year, compared to 15 at the same time last year.
