A man has been charged with aggravated break and enter and domestic violence offences in Balranald.
Police received a report about 2:00pm Sunday (24 May 2026) that a man was behaving aggressively in Balranald.
Following inquiries, police attended an address in Balranald about 2.30pm.
After a short foot pursuit, police arrested a 33-year-old man, who was wanted for three outstanding warrants, at the address.
The man was taken to Dareton Police Station where he was charged by virtue of three warrants for the offences of,
· Contravene prohibition/restriction in AVO (Domestic) (three counts)
· Aggravated break and enter and commit serious indictable offence-people there
· Common assault (DV)
· Stalk/intimidate intend fear physical etc harm (domestic)
· Destroy or damage property (DV)
· Enter building/land with intent commit indictable offence.
