A man has been arrested in possession of a large knife over the weekend.
About midnight on Saturday 31 January, police were called to a licensed premises at Renmark following reports of people fighting, some armed with weapons.
A short time later police attended an address in Fifteenth Street, Renmark where a man was located in possession of a large knife.
The man, a 55-year-old local was arrested and charged with possess offensive weapon, disorderly behaviour in a licenced premises and carry visible offensive weapon in a prescribed place.
He was issued with a barring order prohibiting him from entering the licensed premises for 3-months.
He was bailed to appear in the Berri Magistrates Court at a later date.
