Magpie swooping season is back, but there’ve been no reports of birds dive bombing incidents in Mildura, just yet.
However there’s been one incident reported in Broken Hill last week, with a person swooped while running.
The male birds use scare tactics to protect their chicks between August and October each year.

Ecologists recommend wearing sunglasses and hats, avoiding eye contact, and not waving arms around aggressively.
