Public consultation will soon get underway on a draft replacement Lower Murray Darling Unregulated Water Sharing Plan.
The current plan is due to run out June 30 next year and needs to be replaced or updated every ten years.
The NSW Government says the plan is different to the regulated water sharing plan that takes included the Lower Murray River, Menindee Lakes and Lower Darling Baaka River.
Locals have until midnight November 11 to have their say.
An online webinar will be held on 17 October and a face-to-face information session will be held at Dareton on 24 October.
One-on-one phone meetings can also be arranged.
