A local council has been named in a list of council areas that the National Desexing Network are offering low-cost cat desexing vouchers.
Vouchers for low-cost desexing of cats are available to residents who have a valid pension or concession card for the Swan Hill Rural City Council region.
The offer comes after Swan Hill Council adopted a 24 hour Cat Containment Order.
Vouchers are available while funding lasts and the price to pay varies.
Vouchers for dogs are also available.
Visit the website www.ndn.org.au to check the Low-Cost Desexing directory as there may be Vet Clinics offering discounts all year round and other organisations that offer voucher programs.
