Install a GPS tracker and security devices such as wheel clamps, coupling padlocks and alarms.
Take photos or a video of your site set up to keep an accurate description of your vehicles and valuables.
If you have a good relationship with your neighbours, tell them when you are going away, and let them know if you are taking or leaving your caravan or trailer.
Police say a few simple steps can stop a costly loss.
