Locals who’ve received a land bill tax for the first time this year are being urged to check whether they’re eligible for an exemption.

She says the Nationals opposed the legislation that was pushed through State Parliament last year, that saw the valuation threshold for land tax exemption reduce from $300,000 to just $50,000.
