Two water authorities are teaming up for the Loddon Mallee Blackspot Project, aimed at encouraging locals to be aware of the dangers of local waterways.
It’s been revealed 80 per cent of people who’ve drowned in the Loddon Mallee region have been locals.
Royals Life Saving Australia and Life Saving Victoria say it is important residents are aware of water safety, and making informed decisions about water activities.
