Local water skier Maddi Boyer will represent Australia at the World Water Ski Racing Championships in Gosford, New South Wales later this year.
The 30-year-old is one of four Aussies to compete in the Open Women’s division.
Brent Wisemantle has been named her driver and Daniel Cotton the observer on the boat Showdown.

The championships will be held between November 11 and 18.
