The Australia Post program this year will see 84 Victorian organisations awarded with a grant, including 40 mental health charities.

The postal organisations says this strong local focus highlights how the program is directly targeting priority needs identified within VIC communities.

Across nine years, the program has delivered more than $2.4 million in grants to over 2,400 not-for-profit community organisations across Australia.

This year, Australia Post’s People of Post program has awarded almost $500,000 in grants to 251 community initiatives spanning metro, regional and remote areas across the country.
