Local member calls out tax cut about-face

Federal MP Anne Webster has slammed the Federal Government for going back on Stage 3 Tax Cuts.

PM Anthony Albanese announced changes last week aimed at boosting cuts for middle income earners, while reducing the cuts for higher income earners.

But the Member for Mallee’s doubtful about the claims of cost of living relief.

The local member says most taxpayers in the Mallee will be only 15-dollars a week better off under Labor’s tax reforms.
