Three local pre-schools will each receive six-thousand dollars, allowing children to learn and play with natural materials in the outdoors through the Victorian Government Bush Kinder Program.
The State Government says the money will help kindergartens buy equipment needed to run the programs.
The local kindergartens to receive the funding are Montessori Beginnings, Goodstart on Matthew Flinders Drive and De Garis Preschool.
