Local junior rider heading to Sweden looking for local sponsorship

Local MP Jade Benham has taken to social media to support a young local who is about to compete on the world stage.

12-year-old Blake Schlein is off to compete on the world stage in Sweden.

The Member for Mildura says we should not be at all surprised, given his pedigree and given we put champions on racetracks here in Mildura.

“He’s looking for sponsors so if you can help, hit him up on socials,” the local MP said.

The local rider had a win at Gillman Speedway on the weekend.
