Locals planning a trip to the Gold Coast with Bonza over the holidays have been grounded.
The budget carrier has had to press pause on the flights, blaming issues leasing another plane, getting regulatory approvals and recruiting crew for the flights.
Bonza says as a result it’s had to defer some routes to and from the Gold Coast including Mildura.

The airline says it remains committed to offering a service to regional Australia including flights into and out of Mildura.
The new start date’s being worked through.
