Mildura residents may receive a phone call over coming weeks, asking them to take part in a local government community satisfaction survey.
Mildura Rural City Council is assuring residents it’s not a scam, but National Field Services is holding the survey on behalf of the city and Victorian Government, calling a random selection of locals.
They’re asking how locals think the council’s performed over the last year, and will never ask locals for their name.
Researchers will also identify themselves as being from National Field Services and introduce themselves by name, will always say how long they expect the survey to take and will be made between 9:00am and 8.30pm weekdays and 9:00 am to 5:00pm weekends.
Calls will come from a number with the prefix: (03) 9977, never from a mobile number.
In some cases the researchers may ask to speak to someone in the household of a specific age range and/or gender to ensure that we get a cross-section of residents to match our demographic profile.
MRCC employees are ineligible to participate in this survey.
