A local property owner is set to take part in a fund raiser to help families whose children must go to the city as they battle health issues.
Tim Vandenberg from Gol Gol has taken to social media saying he is taking part in Swim for Sick Kids this November to support seriously ill and injured children and their families.
In his post he says that for sick kids staying at Ronald McDonald House Sydney, they just want their families close as they battle childhood diseases, illnesses and injuries.
On average, it costs $190 to support a sick child and their family for one night at the House.
The families stay for FREE so they can focus on what is most important, their sick child.
He is asking the community to support him and help keep families together as they face the most difficult journey of their lives.
