Mildura Base Public Hospital has been extremely busy this week, with its CEO asking locals to avoid going to the Emergency Department unless it’s an emergency.
Terry Welch has taken to social media saying patients can also head to doctors or the virtual ED online.
And he says they were kept busy on Monday night with ambulances ramped outside the facility.

He says there are currently 13 people in hospital with COVID.
