Mildura and Swan Hill councils will be asked to participate in a program to support more Victorians to get involved in working in local government.
A six-point-three MILLION dollar program has been announced by the Victorian Government to address workforce shortages across the state, including the north-west.
Participants will start training next year, with the government saying it’ll create more job pathways for jobseekers and those wanting to retrain.
