Mildura Councillor Jason Modica is among one-hundred local government representatives from across the country in Melbourne for a two-day national summit.
It’s focussing on clean energy, with zero-emission cars being tested today.
Councillor Modica says the city is already been moving to renewable energy for many years, with rooftop solar now on most of the larger council buildings and facilities.

Councillor Modica also says the city is sharpening its focus on moving the vehicle fleet to electric vehicles.
It’s hoping to have light EVs by 2030 and heavy electric vehicles by 2040.
