The Concert for Cancer has been confirmed for Saturday 13th March 2027, at the Wentworth Showgrounds.
Organiser Patrick Nunan says the concert, and following concerts, will be in aid of local Mildura charity Sunraysia Cancer Resources who do an incredible job in assisting Cancer patients and their families and carers.
“Sunraysia Cancer Resources work very hard to ease the burden of travel and accommodation needs of cancer patients and their families to and from Melbourne and Adelaide for specialist Oncology visits and treatments as well as numerous other forms of caring for Cancer patients.” Mr Nunan said.
The concert will feature 2 bands from Melbourne, 2 from Adelaide and 6 of Mildura’s finest providing the music.
The music covers all genres from hard rock with a tinge of metal to pub rock, a good sing along duo, blues rock and country, as well as a real rising young local talent who performs all his original songs.
Food, coffee and ice cream will be available on site, and organisers ask if the community could let them know of any dietary requirement via the QR code and that will be passed along to the vendors.
There will be exhibitors in the main pavilion with goods for sale.
Children’s entertainment and dance groups will also be a feature of the day, and Mildura Muscle Car Club will hold a show ‘n’ shine of their wonderful machines.
Entry is free, the concert is B.Y.O, but STRICTLY NO GLASS and there will be staff at the gate to check eskies for compliance.
The 2026 event was cancelled due to flooding.
