Throughout September, Lifeline will be hosting in-person walks across the region, offering a chance to pause, reflect and walk side by side in support.
The community is welcome to take part in a way that feels meaningful to you, whether it’s to honour a loved one, pay tribute to a friend or family member, or to stand alongside Australians experiencing emotional distress or mental health challenges.
Lifeline Loddon Mallee says together, we can create space for connection, compassion and hope, because no one should have to face tough times alone.
The Sunraysia Community Walk will be held on Thursday 10 September, 10:00am to 5:00pm at Garden of HOPE.
The day also marks World Suicide Prevention Day (10 September) as we come together to remember those we’ve lost to suicide.
In the Robinvale Euston area, the Out of the Shadows Walk will be held on Sunday 6 September, walking from the Euston Club to Robinvale Community Centre and back.
Followed by a free BBQ on the lawns at Euston Club.
That day also marks Father’s Day, so bring Dad for a walk.
